Case Study: Connecting Bethnals WooCommerce to Brightpearl

London-based denim brand, Bethnals has connected their WooCommerce store with Brightpearl using our Sku2Sku connector.

Kickstarter funded, Bethnals was established in 2013 by Melissa Clement, a creative product developer with over 14 years' experience working for brands across Europe. An expert in her field, Melissa's passion for fit and detail saw her focus on developing a new generation of jean - "the faithful London uniform."

Finding the right fit

Producing quality unisex jeans and denim products, Bethnals ethos is to "steer clear of trends, instead setting their own path to time-honoured design and clean-cut staples that are crafted to live beyond the season ahead. They are determined to deliver you the faithful London uniform."

The distinguishing factor of Bethnals is their heritage. London born and bred, their product price point bridges the gap between high-street and high-end. Find out more about the brand on their Kickstarter page.

A start-up online retailer, Bethnals chose to use the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress to build their store.

Having reached their Kickstarter target in just under a month it was clear that Bethnals had the potential to sky-rocket, outshining their competitors. To provide them with scalable tools for growth, Bethnals chose to use Brightpearl's ERP system. Featuring built in CRM, accounting and fulfilment software, the Brightpearl system would support key business workflows to enable them to focus on growing their product line and business.

Connecting the seams

Brightpearl offers built-in ecommerce integrations for Magento, ekmPowershop, Shopify and Bigcommerce but not Bethnals' chosen platform, WooCommerce.

Brightpearl then referred the denim-brand to Netmatter. Certified and approved Brightpearl Partners, we developed the world's first enterprise level WooCommerce connector for Brightpearl. Synchronising orders, inventory and customer data, our Sku2Sku connector enables Bethnals to integrate with Brightpearl's ERP system.

Working closely with Melissa and her team we implemented our WooCommerce connector ensuring that all skus were mapped with order details downloading completely. Supporting Bethnals throughout the entire process our team ensured that the connector was working seamlessly before the new website went live.

Bethnals Brightpearl Integration

Melissa Clement says "Netmatter were fantastic, such a great service, very speedy and conscientious.. Even when working to extreme deadlines. The link up of both services has saved us countless hours and will keep us sane through the busy website orders. Phew... Thank you Graham!"

Graham Harrison, Operations Director at Netmatter adds "We worked closely with Melissa and the team at Bethnals to set up the connector and even to provide a few tweaks to assist with their workflow. It is fantastic to be working with such dedicated and creative people and I look forward to working with Bethnals on future projects"
