Safely Fused is new electrical services division of K Design & Build, a reputable building company based in Wokingham, Berkshire. Focused primarily on providing electrical services to the high end domestic market, the business also wanted to flexibility to be able to branch out to servicing commercial contracts in the future.

As a result, a clean and simple approach was required for the page layouts and overall design of the new website. This would help ensure it stands out from the competition and appeals instantly to the target market. Safely Fused also required the site to be mobile responsive and perform smoothly for visitors from all smartphones, tablets and computers.

Re-Branding an Independent Electrical Services Company

In order for Safely Fused to become more visible it was important that their brand identity delivered conversion impressions on their target audience. A start up business, they originally wanted to be called Fused; but this was unavailable. Safely Fused was used as their new business name.

Extensive research was carried out on typeface and tone of voice in order to appeal to their current market and potential commercial contracts. Discussions were also had over the colour palette to be used. It was important that the user journey was fulfilled by the brand identity created.

In today's digital world, it is imperative that a brand is an iconic mark that will identify your business across any medium. To develop this for Safely Fused we focused on the 'safe' side of electricity and how this would resonate with clients. Exploring several concepts we finalised with a design that represented 'safe' and 'fused'.

Expanding The Brand's Online and Offline Presence

Once the initial brand identity had been created it was possible for a responsive website to be developed. Further building upon their identity, we created a website that stood out from the competitors. Featuring a simple header, menu system and clean footer, large images and a split home page were used to create clear sectional content and an overview of the business.

One of the most exciting elements of their new website was the addition of a charges page. The key to conversion and customer retention, this page provided instant clarity to customers ensuring no hidden costs.
