Frontend Developer

As a Frontend Developer at Netmatter you'll be joining a talented team and be required to lead the Front End Development of Magento ecommerce projects, WordPress based websites and also our own websites and applications. We do not expect extensive experience of Magento as we have a huge amount of knowledge internally that we will share with you, we'll also help you study for and gain the necessary Magento certifications. We do expect however, that you'll be passionate in your field and focused on delivering lightweight, clean semantic code. You'll also be expected to 'deliver' - in our organisation that means you're responsibile for managing your side of the project and adding value by communicating directly with the client, both on the telephone and via our collaborative project management system. Through source control and deployment tools, you'll also be exposed to the full life cycle of development and will be completely responsible for deploying to both staging and live environments.

Skills and experience:

  • Expert in hand coded responsive design and also familiar with responsive frameworks
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
  • Familiar with frontend JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as jQuery
  • Familiar with PHP, MySQL, version control and Git
  • Intrigue for better usability and experience
  • Passionate about rendering pixel and typography perfection
  • Have high standards for quality with a sharp eye for detail
  • Great verbal and written communication skills

  • At least 1-2 years ecommerce experience

Junior Software Engineer / Systems Integrator

Are you a talented software developer looking to grow your skills in an exciting ecommerce environment? You'll be working alongside our senior software engineer on ecommerce and API integration projects that are both challenging and rewarding. You'll also be required to become a Magento Certified Developer, paid for by the company, and will be working on new technology for our iPaaS product Our expectation is that you'll be driven and in search of a role where you can grow your skills and make a real difference.   • Object oriented PHP (5.4+) and frameworks (e.g. Zend);
  • Competent in SQL database concepts (MySQL)
  • Ideally some experience with third party APIs (using REST, SOAP)

  • Linux command line, basic administration and shell scripting
  • Server side experience, Apache, NGinx (our servers are at Rackspace)
  • Firm grasp of Git-based source control, testing and deployment strategies

Graphic & Web Designer

Are you passionate about visual communication and absolutely have a naturally creative eye? As a designer in our marketing team, you'll be responsible for the design and branding of client work and also everything our customers see from print to web when they interface with Netmatter and our iPaaS offering, Mothercloud. You'll get the opportunity to have a massive impact on how we change client's businesses and also, alongside our sales and marketing team, play a major part in how we communicate our own brand and values to potential customers. As an example, you'll be looking after how we make our websites and print materials look amazing, planning and commissioning photoshoots and videoshoots to support it and working on our event material.

Skills and experience:

  • You can sketch and iterate quickly
  • Experienced in designing for web, print and retail
  • Visually diverse, you're capable of a few different styles
  • Understanding of UX best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Suite including: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Paid Search Specialist

We're looking for a Paid Search Specialist to run online marketing campaigns and make our clients' brands stand out in competitive markets. You'll need to be very commercial and think tirelessly about our clients' return on investment and cost per acquisition. You'll understand the customer and their industry to identify opportunities and deliver more than your client expects. Key Responsibilities include exploring opportunities and facilitating campaigns through all available paid marketing channels namely; Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Linkedin, Facebook & Instagram. Emphasis is on delivering effective initiatives, communicating campaign strategy, progress and results.

Skills and experience:

  • At least two years' experience of Paid Search and Google Shopping management
  • Experienced in managing client budgets and expectations
  • Logical with a commercial mind
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and how landing pages impact PPC
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
