With product data, customer and sales order information originating across a soon to expire ERP, accounting and ecommerce infrastructure, NLG engaged Netmatter to assist with overall solution decisions, and also to provide the ecommerce development and ERP integrations for the new B2B websites.
The new business solution needed to streamline central operations and offer a single data source though a new ERP system that also provided efficiency in a number of areas including warehouse management, sales channel integration, inventory visibility and business reporting.
The existing B2B websites that provided the business with direct B2B vehicle main dealership sales needed to be redesigned and developed for mobile, tablet and desktop devices using a new Ecommerce platform. This and five other of the companies website required unique functionality while being able to be managed from one system and also fully integrated with the chosen ERP to ensure inventory, prices, customers and order data was automatically synchronised.
A key factor of the project was to ensure the new solution provided flexibility to support future business workflows within integrations and also scalable to optimise the growth of current and future commerce operations. Product data, price lists, credit limits and sales order information needed to synchronise across multiple sales channels and ecommerce websites in near real time to ensure data integrity and accuracy of stock.
